Who they are
A solar installer based in Menggatal
Easy Solar Sdn Bhd fits rooftop solar for homes, daytime solar for businesses, and solar-plus-battery systems for sites that run on gensets or have no grid at all. It is based at Mile 10 Jalan Tuaran, Menggatal, Kota Kinabalu.
What was broken
Solar schemes most homeowners have never heard of
Easy Solar already had a WordPress website and asked for a rebrand and rebuild.
Solar in Sabah runs on government schemes with names most homeowners have never heard — SELCO, NEM, Solar Rakyat — and a customer wants to know one thing: how much will I save? The site had to answer that, and hand the conversation to a salesperson on WhatsApp.
What we did
A site built around the customer’s own number
- 1
Built on the Static Stack instead of WordPress
No plugins to keep patched. Hosted on Cloudflare.
- 2
Two savings calculators from Easy Solar’s own formulas
One for homes on the NEM scheme, one for businesses on SELCO, each checked against the client’s worked examples. The result ends in a WhatsApp button with the figures already filled in.
- 3
A knowledge hub in plain words
13 articles by August 2026 explaining the Sabah schemes, including “What is NEM in Sabah”.
- 4
Worked through the feedback round by round
22 items in the first round and 18 in the second, each ticked off on the live preview.
- 5
Launched without touching the company’s email
Easy Solar keeps its domain at its existing host. Bingo changed one record and backed up all 39 first, so staff email carried on working.
- 6
Added Solar Rakyat when the scheme arrived
A page for the new government scheme for homeowners, moved into the main menu at the client’s request.

Why it matters to the next client
A solar buyer does not want a brochure; they want their own number. This site answers “how much could I save?” with the company’s own formulas, then hands the conversation to a salesperson with the figures already typed.
